About Us
Relaxed...Relevant...Rooted in Jesus... Refreshingly Transforming
Thank you for wanting to know more about Scott Church! When you enter the doors, you will meet a group of passionate and compassionate people who are ready to help you experience and grow in Jesus in any way we can.
On Sunday mornings, our worship experience begins at 10:45 AM. The atmosphere is relaxed and expectant. What does that mean for you? It means that no matter who you are, you can come as you are. Our messages are Christ-centerd, word focused, and relevant to life. Our purpose is to stay grounded in real-life, with our hearts and eyes lifted to see the love, grace, and hope of Christ. Everything we say and do is designed to help all of us experience the life-giving and transforming power of Jesus on a Sunday morning. So, while you may come as you are, don't expect to leave the same. Expect for God to make a difference in your life for today, tomorrow, and eternity. We do!
The worship style reflects the people who worship at Scott. From traditional to contemporary worship, people here love it all and want to express hearts of love and worship through a variety of worship expressions. So, our worship is blended with traditional elements, hymns of the faith, and contemporary worship that express the timeless promises and hope of faith in Christ as well as the latest needs and hopes of today as we walk the journey of faith with Jesus one day and step at a time. You're invited to worship here at Scott Church. This is a church you can call home, grow, and be equipped to go anywhere that God calls at anytime.
For more information about who we are, what we believe, and how we express ourselves as the body of Christ in Caidz and Harrison County known as Scott Memorial United Methodist Church, we invite you to check out the links under the About Us Tab.
